Got my fix! My Jacque, Josie, and art (making small books, carving, and printing) fix! Woo!

I discovered the art of Sam Weber through the art of Audrey Kawasaki which my friend EraserQueen also known as artPfunkintroduced me to...whew!

Six degrees of separation, y'all.

But if you look at Sam Weber's illustrations you will see how he contributed to my inspiration for the above print.

time for zzzzzz's.

Hey!!! Yeah, ya'll got tree thangs goin on ;) I love the little doe..or dear?? Wee Buck?? For my 2D design class we had to do trees like this, only experiment in line weight..I added a little bunny, just cause it was boring doing all of those trees, and the prof didn't like it... He was a good teacher, but he had an ego the size of South America and didn't like it when I added animals to ANYTHING.

Anyhow, I really like your tree print. Are you still making them on Linolium???? Are you useing the speedball set?? Are they tough enough???

thanks girls :^)

I know! Trees! Can't get enough! I don't know what the animule is either, it's a cross-breed. Wee Buck..hee hee. What a strange professor with the anti-animal in art shtick. I am carving up soft-block now! I love it!! Have you used it? It is very reasonably priced. I haven't tried linoleum yet, with the speedball although..right on the package it does say 'linoleum cutter'..it says linoleum in there somewhere...it's gonna dull the blades a lot faster. But I will try it some day.

thanks for stopping by!!
